I liked Japan so much that I returned the same year on a working holiday visa, and stayed for a year.
After returning to my county, I rented out a room to Japanese students in my family home in Ireland.
I came back to Japan in 2015, working and living in Tokyo for 4 years.
I returned to Ireland in the end of 2019 to study at University.
In 2024 I graduated and came back to Tokyo to work as an Engineer.

I mostly worked with embedded systems, 8-bit Microcontrollers, Ethernet, sensors, communication protocols, datasheet analysis, and technical support via Salesforce. My internship project was an EMG controlled robotic hand, utilising some ethernet networking skill for communication between controllers instead of SP1, USART or i2c.

I taught myself mathematics to enter university, it took one year to do.
I hold a B.Sc. in Robotics & Intelligent Devices.
Graduated top of my class with First Class Honours. At University I consistently completed working projects each year of my studies. To give an overview, I built a ball and beam control system in my first year, an object detection computer vision system using a Raspberry Pi in my second year, in my third year during my internship I made an EMG controlled robotic hand. In my final year project involved two robotic arms both with 4DOF to perform collaborative tasks using depth cameras and ROS/ Moveit and Linux.
